Understanding Parkinson's Community

This is a community for those who are studying the 'Understanding Parkinson's' course.

Many of you will be studying the course in a workplace setting.  You can study Understanding Parkinson's on your own.  But if you are in a workplace or community setting you may also want to share your experiences with colleagues.  Throughout the course there are activities that you can share with others around you.  Peer support is a powerful way of enriching the learning process.  You can find ideas about how to form a workplace or community based study group at forming a study group.

The community blog is a place for sharing good practice.  Let the rest of the community know about how you organised your study or how you worked with colleagues or workmates to support each other.  If some of the suggestions already on the blog worked for you, write a short post and let the community know about what you did, what worked well and what you might do differently in future.  A short paragraph would be ideal!

When you've finished the course you might like to think about what next.  You can find some ideas at After 'Understanding Parkinson's' what next.
